About Entrepreneurship Development Cell

EDC − (Entrepreneurship Development Cell) aims to promote the entrepreneurship culture in and around the campus by providing multiple platforms to the budding entrepreneurs where they can improve their business models, get mentorship by successful entrepreneurs, interact with investors and groom their entrepreneurship skills.

Roles and Responsibilities of EDC Cell:

(i) To create awareness about entrepreneurship by periodically organizing Workshops, Lectures and other activities that can facilitate knowledge creation and innovation.

(ii) To promote and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students and faculty members.

(iii) To enhance in-house competency development to serve potential and early stage entrepreneurs and student innovators in the institute.

(iv) Arranging visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs.

(v) Conducting survey for Industries.

(vi) Guiding and assisting students on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, loans and facilities from agencies of support systems and information on various technologies.

(vii) Extending necessary guidance to the trainees in obtaining approval and execution of their projects.
